As end of the school year at VIS is around the corner, we invite you to join VIS Summer Festival!
Where and when does the Summer Festival take place?

Bring foods, drinks or refreshments representing your culture, or favourite snack you would like to share from around the world.
Recommendations: make less assortment, yet more quantity; easy to manage and nibble. Yummy!

'FLEA' MARKET TRADERS!
It's my chance today!
Bring a little blanket to create your own market place.
Recommendations: bring books, toys, or other small items that you do not need anymore, but someone else might enjoy. Make sure it is all in good condition, clean, not broken. Make some cash, but remember life's wisdom: This is not the money what brings happiness in our life.

How we spent the
Summer Festival in 2017

27 traders
They placed for sale about 500 toys, games and even clothes and a… car! According to independent analysts, the total turnover was approximately EUR 1175!
10 food-makers
There were 10 food-makers representing 8 countries. They served about 35 different kinds of food and drinks. As usual, all food provided for free.
€350+ donated
We get some money at the entrance as a donation for PTA purposes.
150+ guests
There were about 150 guests at the Summer Festival on 2017!
The Summer Festival is one of our largest celebrations of the year. Please join us before we say goodbye for the summer!

Entry information
- Please make a small donation at the entrance and taste the variety of dishes provided. Students are free.
- Are you searching for toys, games or sports equipment? Please remember to bring some money to support our entrepreneurs.
When the festival will begin and how long it will take?
The Festival begins at 10:00 at VIS courtyard. Usually the Festival ends at 13:00
When my kid should come if she is a ''Flea' Market trader?
Student Entrepreneurs may begin setting up their stalls at 9:00. (Please do not forget to bring a blanket). It also helps to prepare some small change to make the transactions more efficient. And don't forget to give your child hat and\or an umbrella - the day will be sunny!
When I should come if I'm a Food maker?
Food dishes may be delivered beginning at 9:00 on Saturday.
Could I sell my food during the Summer Fest?
All food dishes should be provided free of charge.
What should I do if I'm a volunteer?
Volunteers: Please let us know if you can help with one of the following tasks:
- Set-Up
- Food table assistance
- Clean-Up
- Stay at the gate for some time to assist guests and keep a donations safe :)
